This is the promised last minute practical information bulletin about the
EuroConference next week.

Arrival in Les Houches with the Conference Bus: 
===============================================
The Conference bus is from the Annecy company CROLARD, and will bear the green
posters you've all seen. The bus will wait on Sunday June 17:

until 16h30 at CERN-Meyrin reception (map :

until 16h50 at Geneva International Airport, "Accueil France" or on the parking

      BOUCHTA, FARZAN, FREUND, HANSEN, HEEGER, HIRSCH, KING, LIUBARSKY,

      SKADHAUGE, TILAV, WEINHEIMER

until 17h10 at the meeting point of the Geneva Cornavin railways station 
      for the following people:

      STECH, YANAGIDA

To avoid cumulative delays, the bus will not wait long past these times. In
case of trouble, you can call the bus +33 (0)60 70 60 753. People whose name
does not appear on the lists above are expected to reach Les Houches on their
own, but have until friday to change their mind by dropping an email.

The secretariate in Les Houches will be open on sunday from 18h00 till 20h30
( phone: +33 (0)4 50 54 40 69 ) . If you arrive earlier or later, the room
you've been assigned will be posted on the building of the secretariate
(Jacassiere, see http://www.ujf-grenoble.fr/HOUCHES/plan-les-houches.html )
You can just go to your room, and enter, they will be left open for the day.

Please notice however that the available food for the sunday night dinner will
decay exponentially after 19h30.

Material for talks:
===================
There is in principle a way to make computer presentations, but we would urge
you to come with slides as a back-up. 

We plan to scan all the slides presented, and make them available on the web
site. However, those who have computer-generated slides would save time and
increase printing quality by bringing the source files along (either on
diskette or via some available URL).

Clothes :
=========
Do not forget that the weather has a wide variety of options at 1000m in June,
all the way from snow to T-shirts. It indeed nearly snowed last week-end on the
Center, and next week, the temperature might as well rise to 30 degrees
Celsius... To give you a feeling for the weather, you may have a look at

Money :
=======
Those whose stay is not covered by the conference will have to pay either in
french cash, credit card (Visa or Masters; NO AMERICAN EXPRESS) or travellers
cheques.
